Anthropic Replaced Git With Scion After Claude Pushed Merges to 30,000 a Day
Anthropic replaced Git with an in-house version control system called Scion after Claude coding agents pushed its daily code merges from around 2,500 in May to more than 30,000 in September. The company says the bottleneck moved from writing code to the plumbing around it.
